Art Group Sessions

Are you looking for a great way to socialize with other artists and find the motivation to finish your art projects? Look no further! We have an art group just for you. Get ready to unleash your creativity.

We are a gathering of artists from the Ellis County Art Association who enjoy painting, drawing, and sharing a meal together. Each artist brings their own supplies and ideas, and we all work independently at our own pace. Anyone interested is welcome to join us, and other members of the Waxahachie Senior Center are also welcome to watch or participate.

Location: Waxahachie Senior Center, 122 Park Hills Dr., Waxahachie, TX 75165

Meeting Room: Room 107

Meeting Time: Every Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM

Please note the following guidelines:

• Table covers are stored in a box in the second closet. You'll need to visit the front desk to have the closet unlocked.

• Keep the closet open during painting sessions as it will lock when closed.

• Always cover tables while painting and ensure you pick up all your own trash. We want to maintain our painting space.

• If you'd like to have lunch at the Waxahachie Senior Center, please call them the day before or by 10:30 AM on the day of your visit. The cost is only $5, which includes your drink. Visit the front desk to pay and receive your lunch voucher by 11 AM. Lunch is served at 11:30 AM in the cafeteria, and there's free popcorn available around 1:30 PM in the cafeteria.
